ROTHWELL PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the Meeting held virtually on Tuesday 12th January 2021 at 7:30pm.
Present: Cllrs S Davey(Chairman), C. Dale, W. Emms, R. Thomas and N. Deakin.
1. APOLOGIES: Cllr I. Kireia. Council accepted that Cllr Kireia has been unwell for some time and resolved not to use the six month rule to disbar him.
2. CO_OPTION OF COUNCILLOR: No interest to date.
3. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: None.
4. MINUTES OF MEETING OF 10th November 2020: Signed as a true record.
5. CHAIRMAN & COUNCIL’S COMMENTS: None.
6. CLERK'S REPORT ON OUTSTANDING MATTERS: Nothing to report.
7. FINANCE: ACCOUNTS FOR PAYMENT: H. Pitman: £232.89; HMRC: £46.40; J Nickerson Farms: £439.20. Resolved to pay.
8. PLANNING APPLICATIONS: None. Cllr Dale raised the fact that trees have been removed from the site granted planning permission on Beckside. Cllr Emms not aware of TPOs but will take a look.
9. CORRESPONDENCE; None
10. UPDATE ON FOOTPATH ON BECKSIDE FOLLOWING RECEIPT OF LCC GRANT: LWCS has confirmed that the project needs to be delivered by 21st February 2021. The clerk has drawn down the funds. Cllr Emms informed council that the second quote has not been received. Council resolved that E. Nickerson do the job and, as landowner be asked for a contribution should the cost including gates be more than originally advised. Cllr Emms to speak with him to move things forward.
