ROTHWELL PARISH COUNCIL
Minutes of the Meeting held at Rothwell Village Hall on Tuesday 19th March 2019 at
7:30pm.
Present: Cllrs S. Davey (Chairman), I. Kireia, C. Dale, W. Emms.
1) APOLOGIES: M. Deakin, R. Biglands, G. Pearce.
2) DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST: None
3) MINUTES OF MEETING OF 15th JANUARY 2019: Signed as a true record.
4) CHAIRMAN & COUNCIL’S COMMENTS: None.
5) REPORTS FROM OTHER BODIES: Cllr Regis informed council that he would be
standing for re-election and wished parish councillors well. Discussion took place
regarding the recent fly tipping incident and the poor state of Cuxwold Road. The clerk will
report potholes again to LCC.
6) CLERK'S REPORT ON MATTERS OUTSTANDING: Nothing to report.
7) FINANCE: ACCOUNTS FOR PAYMENT:

Resolved to pay.
8) PLANNING APPLICATIONS: 139059 to demolish 28 pheasant rearing sheds and
erect 2 with feed silos at Cherry Garth Farm, Cuxwold Road. No objections.
Council is of the opinion that it will remove an eyesore and improve working
conditions.
9) CORRESPONDENCE: Circulated.
10) TO AGREE ON DATE FOR MAY MEETING: The date needs to be brought forward as
legally the meeting must be held within 14 days of the election. It was agreed to hold on
Tuesday 14th May.
