Minutes of the Meeting of Parish Council on TUESDAY 17th September 2024

1. Apologies for absence: E Ellinor, M Colebrook, S Davey. Cllr C Dale took the Chair.

3. To approve minutes of the meeting held 16th July 2024. Duly approved (with a small amendment) and signed.
4. Chairman & Council’s comments/updates – none.
5. Clerk's report on matters outstanding
Volunteers from the Highways Volunteer Scheme have refurbished the bench.
Next time we could ask them to clean play equipment.
6. Reports from District/County Councillor. None.
7. Finance:
Funds received:
- CIF - £500 towards playpark
- Grant from Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service £2218.00 which is 50% of the total offer, the rest to be paid upon completion.
Balance in accounts is currently £2927.11, with £2218.00 being due from grants and VAT refund of £1487.39 being claimed at end of September bringing the total at end of October to £6002.50.

- Mark Colebrook – refund for materials for bench £50.29 (paid)

10. Update on Play Park. Trim Trail has been installed, with very positive feedback and the second half of the grant has been applied for.
11. Any other business: DCC have said they will install a booster on the village hall roof which would enable people with Smart meters in the village to have connection to the network. If the village hall approves it, the PC could put an official request to DCC for this to go ahead. Cllr Dale to talk to the Village Hall Committee.
